The Greenery Taiwan

The Greenery is a fast food brand that employs unique culinary techniques to create a variety of distinctive salads, sandwiches, pokes, and an array of soups and hot/cold beverages around Taiwan. 

 

The founder previously studied abroad in Australia and brought back the concept to Taiwan. Since 2017, there have been nine branches established across Taiwan to date.

​The Story of Sticker & and the Concept 

Story to convey principles similar to the founding story, the concept from Australia

The story revolves around an elderly couple, the Taiwanese husband, and the Australian wife. Despite living in Australia, their children settled in Taiwan. The elderly couple operates a salad shop, making salads from the wife's family's traditional recipes. Unlike simple salads, they include vegetables, meat, rice, noodles, and unique dressings, making them popular among nearby residents and working professionals.

 

A postcard from their granddaughter Alice in Taiwan prompted their return due to a family event. In 2017, they began their retirement plan in Taiwan, inspiring their son and daughter to establish "The Greenery." Today, it has grown to nine branches, a family venture offering a variety of fresh salads, pressed sandwiches, pokes and healthy beverages.

 

One Halloween day, the son noticed Alice drawing, portraying her family members as various salads. Impressed, the son took Alice's artwork to his art friends for refinement, turning it into Line stickers.

1. Why choose The Greenery?

  • I used to work part-time at The Greenery, and occasionally, consumers would be unfamiliar with or have some misconceptions about the products. I want to utilise my understanding of the brand through storytelling and Line stickers to help people comprehend the brand and its products better.

​ 2. What do the stickers represent or any concept?

  • Salads are not limited to being consumed only by adults; elderly individuals and children enjoy eating them. Therefore, the design of the stickers caters to the young, adult and the old.

  • Each sticker represents a different dish, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, noodles and rice. This aims to dispel the common misconception that salads are exclusively vegetarian. The Greenery's salads offer a wide range of choices.
